Is there a Chines phone that is as small as a Pixel 5 (or smaller?), with decent hardware/ram?

I don't even need a great processor, just good enough. I don't play games (other than things like Solitaire or Backgammon), but I multi-task like mad, so ram is more important than anything.

I've been looking at one of the Unihertz Jelly phones. I'm a bit concerned about the mediatek, but they're well priced so it' s not a bad gamble.

Right. Sure.

I'm guessing the photos look like this.

Yea, buy three 4TB drives, one is master, the other 2 sync from master (can mirror or use a sync tool).

Then get a cloud backup service.

Shop for drives here.

Isn't it adjustable already? Or is that only in the versions I use (Lineage forks).

It would be nice to be able to set a default other than 50:50

Sometimes you need to work in 2 apps simultaneously. Switching is not the same at all.

Android, unlike iOS, actually runs apps simultaneously.

Using a pass code for an app/website that won't allow copy/paste, for example. I don't use it a lot, but occasionally it can be useful to have maps and media player going together. Or 2 mapping apps.

I have one with a big duct tape flag/handle. Stays in the phone kit with spudgers, tiny screwdrivers, etc.

Well, once you take yours off, naturally you hang it on the tree. Problem solved!

Totally off the wall question, which I realize probably isn't very meaningful, but I was watching a movie where a character was using a suppressed rifle. Looked like an AR/.223 (I assume).

Well it got me thinking - how much can a given gun be suppressed (decibel reduction) before performance is significantly reduced (I assume it must impact performance, even if just a little since it's attenuating sound waves, which are energy, but what do I know?).

I'm sure it varies by round/load, barrel length, etc, so let's assume a subsonic .223 round in a 14" barrel (is that a common lenth?). Or if you know a specific case that's fine too.

Surely there are reasons why a given suppressor is chosen for a specific use case, and I don't know enough to see that (diminishing returns for length/weight?)

I tried asking chatgpt, but it just returned generic suppressor info.
